Social Networking is people communicating and sharing stuff about their lives online.

Facebook and Twitter are the most popular social networking sites at the moment.

In short i will define social networking as commuting or interacting online with known or unknown people to share information or just for chatting. It has its own good or adverse effects depending upon how it is used.
