If you are using Firefox just go to the top menu bar. Select, “Tools” then “Downloads”. You should be able to see all your recent downloads there. Right-click the file and choose to open up the folder it is stored it. Once a folder pops up select the file then, Right-click and hold down that button. Drag it to an empty spot on your desktop and let go of the button. You should now see some options. One of those options is to create a shortcut.

You can use the method above for created a desktop shortcut to any file or program on your computer.

Do you have Windows XP, maybe Vista, Vista 64-bit or maybe you have a Mac? What web browser are you using, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari or something else?

I don't know all your details yet so I can only guess your scenario. You might have installed a program or 2 from the last time Flash worked to the time it stopped. That program or programs caused Flash from working. Maybe you have a new program that is an AntiVirus, pop-up blocker or Firewall security?

This is the exact Adobe Flash Player download page you should get it at:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

What page does it redirect you to exactly when you try to DL it?
