adobe shockwaveplayer

I'm not sure i'm on the right topic. I'm trying to download the adobe shockwaveplayer, but there's no pop up comin up and a golder bar doesn't appear either... Help me please!

This is very common. You have a very strong pop-up blocker and/or security program on your computer. The Google Toolbar (also Yahoo, Ask, etc.) has a tenancy of blocking stuff like that. You need to disable it, at least temporarily. Another culprit it could be is your anti-virus program. It may think that Adobe pop-up is some malicious virus wanting to download to your computer and it that is why it is being blocked. Temporarily disable that also. Last, it could be your firewall program (ZoneAlarm, Bit Defender, etc.) blocking the action. If you have one of these disable it temporarily.

I am not sure what software you have on your computer. Maybe you just have 1 of the above mentioned or maybe all 3. Whatever the case you need to temporarily exit the program or disable it.
