hey joey its me again. i have another prob. wen im p2p sharing my connection icon is some times yellow or red. also the speed is VERY SLOW!!! this has been happining since i switched to verizion internet service. plz reply!

For now, try resetting your connection.
or re installing the program that you use to download the bitorrents

To reset unplug your DSL modem (power and data) cables while the computer is on. Once it is unplugged restart your PC. Once the computer starts up again and Windows is loaded plug the Verizon modem cables back and the Internet should load up within 2 minutes.

btw, do you know what Internet speeds you had before and was it DSL or Cable? What speeds do you have now? In my area if I switched from my Cable internet to Verizon DSL my Internet would slow down a LOT since Cable Internet (in my area, I don't know about yours since I don't live there) is 6x faster than Verizon.

im not sure wat the speed was, but it was pretty fast w/cable, but now wen i tested it, the speed for my dsl is 687 kb/s for down speed, and 360 kb/s for upload speed

Your Cable connection was probably 8-12x that speed. That is the reason it is slow. As much as I hate how unreliable my cable connection is sometimes I would never switch because I don't want to decrease my speed by more than half. In your case it is a lot worse than half the speed.
