I`m trying to download (attached) from wincustomize cursor fx on Windows 7. When i download, it is saved and when i click on open keeps going to open/save again, and i can`t install it. I should be able to get to "run" and then install but that is not happening. I`ve installed Winzip but can`t get anywhere with that either.Any ideas what i may be omitting? Smiley

I tried the download on my Windows XP computer and when i click on download, the box attached comes up but it doesn`t on my Windows 7 computer.

I went to that site and downloaded that exact file. I extracted it using 7-zip and it extracted to my desktop fine. The file I got was called "Gear.CurXPTheme". It does not install automatically. You have to install it manually via the Control Panel > Mouse (settings)

If you are unsure about how to extract the file I did it on my PC just now using the same method I did in this video: http://www.cleartechinfo.com/Learn-How-To-Download-Install-Beginner-Basics-7-zip-File-Archiver

Turns out it's not like most cursors. You need a program to install it.

Here is what you need: http://download.cnet.com/CursorXP/3000-2317_4-10357248.html?tag=list

There are a lot of programs that "unzip" files. My fav just happens to be 7-zip. No need to go into the mouse settings. The program I linked should take care of that.
