deleting browser history

Greetings

Some insight please!

I downloaded Internet Explorer 8, to upgrade from 7

And done everything that you suggested to delete browser history, but when I go to type something new on the browser and click the down arrow, they are still their... even after deleting them one by one with the Red X, they are still there.

There use to be in the down arrow at the bottom 'clear history'  in explorer 7 it is no longer there.

I used everything that was suggested; in Tools, used internet options and checked off everything and hit delete, they are still there
 
Used the Safety Bottom to Delete Browser History, they still remain

Went into history to delete, they are still there

After going thru everything that is available to use for deleting browser history,they still remain when you click the down arrow on browsers.

Any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated

Hi George,

Try this…
1. With Internet Explorer open, Press and HOLD DOWN the “CTRL” and “SHIFT” keys, then TAP the “DEL” key.
A pop-up will appear. CHECK everything EXCEPT the 1st checkbox and hit the Delete button

2. Close Internet Explorer

3. Install and Run the free CCleaner. In case you need it I created a CCleaner tutorial: http://www.cleartechinfo.com/How-To-Thoroughly-Delete-Internet-Browser-History-Cache-Cookies-DNS-Cache

4. Open up Internet Explorer again. Look for the “Favorites” folder/section. Individually DELETE every saved website in there
