Hello,
When something is wrong with your LCD screen usually it is due to 1 of 2 things, your RAM (memory) or graphics adapter (video card).

The shop you took it to already changed your RAM so the video card is left to test out. Do you have a desktop PC? If you do you can test out your video card. I am not sure where or how you use your laptop but for at least a few days you need to connect your laptop to your desktop's monitor. Use it as you normally would. See if the same events happen.

btw, what exactly happens to your LCD monitor? Does it display weird colors? Does it smell like it is burning? Does it blank out and does not turn back on? Or something else?

You can plug in your desktop monitor to your laptop. It's a standard feature on most, if not all laptops. Just look at the back of the laptop for a monitor connection. Use the same cable that you use for your desktop PC. Here is a picture of the cable and connector that you probably have. http://i49.tinypic.com/30jsj8x.jpg

The only other types of PC monitor connections are shown in this picture http://i48.tinypic.com/33mnabq.jpg I am not sure if you have one of the newer ones like DVI or HDMI?

The video tutorial will allow show you how to upload an image and share it on here. Ignore the first part of the video that shows you how to create a screen shot.

The quick instruction on how to link up your pics on here is...
Upload the images to TinyPic.com and then copy and paste the "direct links" text that is given to you on here.

I sent you my email via Private Message.

Email received  Smiley

It is probably the video card. Try plugging it into your desktop monitor for a while to see if it does the same thing.

Your laptop has a video card. It is integrated/built-in.

What you are looking for is an external "VGA" connector on your laptop. It should be a standard feature. I have one on my new laptop and my 1st laptop I owned back in the late 90s had one.

It should look almost exactly like the connector on the Left side of this image.

Disconnect your (desktop) monitor from your PC and connect it to your laptop's external VGA connection.

The System BIOS shadowed and Video BIOS shadowed is a feature for older laptops. Every computer new and old has BIOS. The BIOS is the first thing you see on your screen when you start up any computer. Older laptops used to "shadow" / copy the bios info onto your RAM to speed up the startup process. If you have  newer laptop you can disable this but let's diagnose the video card/laptop LCD problem first.

After you plug in your laptop into your desktop monitor, use your laptop as you normally do. If you use MS Word, then email and go on YouTube normally, do that. You said it takes about an hour for the screen to mess up. So replicate what you normally do on your laptop for 1 hour or until the screen messes up.

For your laptop (and most out there) you would have to swap out the full motherboard, since the video card is built into it.

Hello  Smiley

Since you’ve plugged it into your desktop monitor and it still goes crazy we can rule out that all of this is caused by your laptop screen. Now I am certain it is either your built-in video card or your motherboard. On top of the video screen gone crazy problem, the burnt smell can’t be good.

This can be fixed by replacing the motherboard. But replacing the motherboard will probably require a technician and a special ordering of the laptop motherboard. I don’t see you coming out of this without spending at least $300 if you include parts and labor.

I recommend that you save the 300+ dollars and use that for a new laptop. Here is an example of a new one you could buy which would be faster than the one you currently have.

There is a problem with your ram. You can remove your new ram and then try to operate laptop. If laptop not give the response then you can check your video card and graphics card also.there is a problem with hardware, so check all hardware properly.
