So I had this problem for quite a while now.
Whenever I use MPEG Streamclip to edit videos or open mp3 streaming links, its just a black box where the time bar is.  Im able to scroll to any time, its just that I cant see anything. Does anyone know what the problem is?  Huh

I am sorry, I have no experience with MPEG Streamclip. I use Adobe Premiere and Camtasia to edit and convert videos.

Does anybody else use MPEG Streamclip that can help Huh
