Video Chat

Hi guys,

Well I'm looking for a program like "Skype" to video chat with friends. Messenger has a really bad sound when it came to Video chatting and Skype is just to heavy and it might slow down the PC... So I'm looking for something in between.

you are correct in saying skype is to heavy,ive been doing tutorials using skype for many months now,but these days all i get is major freeze ups and poor audio/video quality running 2gig of ram with a 2.60GHz processor.ive also heard microsoft has or is buying skype out.so seems there not bothering with the recent bugs.
also theres many security problems due to the Android Platform aswell.
my new prefered method of video chat is 'gmail'.it uses very little resources but you need to be signed in to your email to use it.

Try Video chat using Google Chat.

NOTE: They talk a lot in the review on the Quality and Availability of it. This only applies to it if you plan to use it on your phone. Your computer + webcam will run smoother and have higher quality than any phone (unless you have like a 10 year old webcam, then I can't help you, lol)
