Tera places a score on all gear. They call this score “item level” or “ilvl” for short. The better the gear the higher the item level rating it will have. All weapons, chest, feet, hands, belt and jewelry gear will have an ilvl rating. You cannot raise the item level on gear with the exception of enchantable gear. When you enchant your gear it’s item level will be raised. All things being equal, the higher the enchantment level the higher the item level gear score.
