Being able to find and also change the location of the Firefox download folder is important if you download anything off the Internet. Many people have asked me to help them find the location of the Firefox download folder on their computer. On my own computer at home I changed the location of the Firefox download folder to a special drive where I place all of my Internet downloads. This way in case I am every looking for a particular download I know exactly where it will be located.

So I routinely scan this specific folder where I place all of my downloads for viruses, malware, spyware, etc.
