    Hey guys,
I am having problems trying to access my hotmail account because of some privacy error that keeps poping up. I am thinking it is the anti-virus because it happens on firefox and chrom. My anti-virus is kaspersky internet security. I try placing the website URL adrress as a trusted one, but it didn’t work. This is the error:

    This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to blu179.mail.live.com, but we can’t confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site’s identity can’t be verified.
    What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn’t continue.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

It doesn’t let me add an exception, just to leave the page.

    Thanks,
    Rojo

    Supz dude,

Try accessing Hotmail through “outlook.com” and “mail.live.com”. They are all owned by Microsoft so you should be able to access Hotmail through those URLs.

    Sweet! Glad it worked 🙂

btw, I forgot to add, clear your cookies, cache, history and other browser crap before you visit, Outlook.com or mail.live.com to make sure it properly goes to the new sites. But I guess in your case you didn’t need to do that xD
