Hi Pearl,
I am not sure what wireless router you own, but there is something you can adjust on your wireless router to fix the problem on your laptop.
Go into the Wireless router options page and adjust the wireless signal settings to “Wireless N” for Wireless Mode and “5 GHz” for Frequency. No need to change the wireless name or password, keep that the same. This will prevent your microwave from interfering with your laptop and all other wireless devices.
