If you haven’t updated your computer since the Windows Vista days, then the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare minimum system requirements will be too harsh for your PC. You will not be able to run COD: Advanced Warfare. For starters you need a 64-bit version of Windows 7 / 8 and at least 6 GB of RAM. What is even a tougher minimum requirement is the CPU and Graphics card. The full detailed COD: AV system requirements are listed at the end of this article.
[adblockingdetector id=”1″]The official international release date for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is Tuesday, November 4th, 2014. If you pre-ordered the game (“Day Zero” version) then you get to play COD: AV 24 hours before everyone else on November 3rd. There will be several new features, most notably the exoskeleton. The exoskeleton abilities will include a quick deploy shield, increased run speed, temporary health raise above normal levels, character hover, ping nearby movement / weapon fire and trophy deployment. The exo ability I am most excited about is the exo cloak. I love games where I am able to move around in stealth. Although cloaking will only be for a short duration I am excited for the inclusion of stealth into the Call of Duty franchise.
I am excited to hear that Zombies will be associated with the latest Call of Duty again. I have seen a short Zombie trailer, but I am not sure if zombies will just be part of the single player storyline or if there will be a multiplayer zombie mode. Speaking of multiplayer, I am loving the sneak peak videos I have seen of the new Uplink gaming mode. The objective in Uplink is to carry a ball / orb to the enemy side and score by throwing it into the designated scoring spot (like a large hoop in basketball or net in hockey). When you are carrying the ball, you cannot use your weapons. One cool but very trolly thing you can do is quickly toss the ball to the enemy. The enemy auto catches the ball which of course disables his use of weapons. Now that he has the ball you can easily gun the enemy down and pickup the ball from his dead body. I imagine many Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players will be raging because of this Uplink mode ability, lol.
I pre-purchased the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Pro edition aka “Day Zero” edition. This includes 24 hours early access to the game and double XP during that 24 hour early access period. It also includes the COD: AV Season Pass and bonus in-game features like weapons and an extra map. I can’t wait to play COD: Advanced Warfare! I will see all of you COD fans there. Say “Hello!” if you see me during multiplayer. My in-game name will be “Nero”.
