I have found it very convenient to set my Windows 7 PC at home to automatically logon to my main user account every time I turn it on or restart Windows. This is VERY unsecure if you don’t want another person to use your computer or get into your files without you knowing. But if it’s at home, you have nothing to hide and there is nobody that will crash your computer or download a virus to it when you are away then why not?

You can also view the video tutorial to reverse the process, remove the Windows auto login and require a password every time the computer is turned on or restarted.

In the following Auto Logon into Windows 7 video tutorial I will take you step-by-step and you will easily learn the following…
1. How-to access your Windows command prompt by using the “cmd” command
2. How-to access an advanced user accounts options popup using the “control userpasswords2” command
3. What options to set in order to make your Windows 7 PC automatically log into any user account you want every time you startup or restart your computer
