Adobe search function

I have Adobe installed on my computer. When try to find something in a document. search function not working. I have tried typing in a set of numbers that I see on the screen. Its says not found. To get to search function I I hit ctrl and the f key

Hello hoogy,

I have about 8 different Adobe programs installed on my PC that came with the suite I bought. I can test it out for you on my PC. But I need to know exactly what Adobe program you are talking about.
