Computer is a PC. When I am playing
various Zynga Games (FarmVille, FarmVille 2)
I keep getting Shockwave Crash errors. This
shuts everything down and it has to be
restarted. I have used IE, Chrome, Firefox
and Torch and I get them with all browsers.
This happens several times daily. I have used
a registry cleaner and have made sure
PepperFlash is disabled. I have also
uninstalled Shockwave and Flash Player and
reinstalled both so I have the newest versions.
This is very annoying.
Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3,
Build 9600)
BIOS: V2.23
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i3-31.10M
CPU @ 2.4 GhZ (4CPUs) ~2.4 GHz
Memory: 6144 MB
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Main Driver: igdumdm64.dll, igd10umd64.dll,igd10
Version: 10.18.10.3621
Driver Model: WDDM 1.3
Can you help me?

Hello Pearl,
Thank you for posting all the details. It helps, especially since the first solution I was about to suggest was one you already tried (fresh reinstall).
_____Try this Adobe Flash crashing fix_____
Using Firefox, disable “hardware acceleration”.
Step 1 – Open Firefox and go to this Adobe link: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html#main_Find_Flash_Player_version_type_and_capabilities__Flash_developers_only_Step 2: Scroll down to #5 on the list. There should be a square animation there. RIGHT-click the animation and select “Settings…”
Step 3 – UNcheck the “Enable hardware acceleration” box.
Step 4 – Close/Exit Firefox. Then open it up again. Perform Step 1 and 2 again above. Verify that the Enable hardware acceleration checkbox is NOT checked.
Step 5 – Using Firefox, play a Zynga game that uses Flash and usually crashes on you.

If nothing works there is a chance your PC is infected with at least 1 virus. Below is a guide I created that will show you how to clean your PC from viruses, malware and spyware.
PLEASE NOTE: All 3 programs have free versions. Download the Free versions from all 3 programs.
STEP 1: Download / Install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
——– http://www.malwarebytes.org/downloads/STEP 2: Run a Thorough / Full scan using Anti-Malware
——– Follow all on-screen instructionsSTEP 3: Download / Install SuperAntiSpyware

——– Follow all on-screen instructionsSTEP 5: Download / Install Dr. Web CureIt
——– http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/STEP 6: Uninstall anything related to “Flash” or “Shockwave” on your computer
STEP 7: Restart your computer
STEP 8: Install Adobe Flash from here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Hi Amanjot,
When you get an Adobe Flash player dump /crash do you get any error codes or any type of reference codes? If so can you give me this information?
