Is there any to move the dll files from the avast folder back to where they belong ? If I remove them the computer needs to go back to a restore point to be operable again
Hello,
Even if you were to successfully move the Windows DLL system files to their original folder Avast the program may not work properly.
Btw, have you read about the big controversy concerning Avast? It turns out Avast was spying on its customers. It has also been installing Adware on their customer’s computers. I would not recommend Avast to anyone due to this.
If you want a good, free alternative I’d go with Commodo https://www.comodo.com/
If you want the best Anti-Virus program out there, IMO it is Kaspersky http://amzn.to/1DUHUlZ
