Hey Joey,
Just a little update re my problem with Flash player or whatever the issue is with the lack of ability to view live news streaming. As you have suggested I have installed Google Chrome, and just as I had suspected I find I have the very same problem with it as I do with Internet Explorer 11.
In other words, I am still unable to view streaming video. By the way, I am still able to view YouTube video.
Looks like it is a reformat operation is the only solution. I am going to put that job off as long as I can. Unless someone else can direct me to fix that works.
Hi Joey,
Thank you for your reply to my question. I forgot to include my internet bandwidth, but yes 20 mbps should and was more than enough to run Flash Player. I agree something was reinstalled after my reformat to interfere with Flash P.
I do not keep unnecessary toolbars. I have made no changes to Anti-Virus (anti-malware, anti-spyware), Firewall or
Security suite since the problem started. I have tried disabling my ad blocker as well as other IE Add-ons enabled.
The problem still persists.
I have not tried Google Chrome this time but if I remember correctly I had the same issue before the reformat, and after I installed Chrome back then. Which is why I had take the reformat drastic action. However I will try Chrome again and see what happens. I just wish I knew what happened to cause this problem again in the first place. I must have visited a site or installed something that doesn’t agree with Flash. All worked well until just over a month ago.
Thank you for your help. I will keep searching for a while longer before I do the dreaded ‘F’ thing again..:) Will let you know if by some miracle I get things working again.
