Mozilla released Firefox 3.5 for download to the world at the end of June (yes, it’s 100% free to download). By the time you read this Mozilla should have about 8 million downloads. According to Mozilla, the makers of Firefox, version 3.5 is twice as fast as version 3.1. I don’t know about you but this alone propels me to upgrade my Firefox to the latest version.

[adblockingdetector id=”1″]Mozilla achieved this performance enhancement by supercharging their JavaScript engine. If you do not know what JavaScript is or what sites it is used on that is not a problem. I guarantee most of you browse websites that use JavaScript heavily every time you are online. JavaScript is a programming code for websites that is heavily used on a ton of sites. The most popular websites that use JavaScript are YouTube, MySpace and Facebook (even ClearTechInfo.com uses JavaScript). So yes, pretty much anyone who is reading this can benefit from the Java Script engine speed increase.

An added feature to version 3.5 that you might enjoy is called, “Private Browsing”. In short it allows you to cloak your online web browsing activities. So if someone goes on the computer right after you they will have no idea what sites you have visited. I will be releasing a tutorial on this specific feature later this week. There are improvements to older features like the Cleaning of Firefox History, Cache, Cookies and Passwords which I will also create a tutorial on this week.

There are two types of groups of people that will be downloading Firefox 3.5. The group that does not have any version of Firefox on their computer and the group that has an older version and will be upgrading to the newer Firefox 3.5. In the video tutorial below I will cover both groups. If you have an older version of Firefox installed on your computer you must be aware that some of your Firefox Add-ons and Themes will NOT be compatible with the newer 3.5. If history repeats itself and I am sure it will most of the popular Add-ons and Themes will be updated for version 3.5 within a couple of months.

If you are familiar with the Mozilla Firefox downloading, installing or upgrading process then you can skip the tutorial below and download the new Firefox 3.5 at the following link: http://www.firefox.com/

In the following Firefox 3.5 download / upgrade video tutorial I will take you step-by-step and you will easily learn the following…
1. If you are a current Firefox user you will learn how to upgrade to the newest Firefox 3.5
2. If you do not have any version at all installed on your computer you will learn how to download and install Firefox 3.5
3. What to expect if you already have Firefox installed and have Add-ons or a Theme installed that is not compatible with the newer Firefox 3.5.
