This Tera Rising tutorial was created with newbies in mind that have been playing the game for less than a week. This might even be the first massive multiplayer online role playing game (“MMORPG”) you have played. The Tera video tutorial below explains the basic non-playable characters (“NPC”s) that you deal with a lot while playing Tera.

[adblockingdetector id=”2″]Here is what I highlight in the Tera tutorial video below…
Storyline Quest NPC – An orange/red “!” is above the head of these NPCs
Normal Quest NPC – A yellow “!” is above the head of these NPCs
Magic and Tactics Instructor – These are the trainers we visit while leveling. We acquire and upgrade our combat skills with them.
After you have purchased a new ability, how to use it.
Mini-Map – What it is and icons on it.
Noble Cleric of Restoration – The NPC you go to when you want to fully replenish your Heal, Mana and Stamina.
Stamina – An explanation of what it is.
Bank NPC – You can access your personal bank, guild bank and in-game email.
Trade Broker NPC – The auction house. You buy and sell items here.
General Goods Merchant – NPC to buy general goods like Alkahest, Pet Treats, Campfires, Identification Scrolls, Teleport scrolls as well as many other items.
Crystal Merchant- NPC that offers basic Crystals.
Specialty Store – NPC to buy Bandages, Tier 6 Alkahest, Charms, Instance Teleport Scrolls and other items.

EDIT: I forgot to explain in the video tutorial that the NPCs with a lime-green “!” above their head offer daily quests aka “dailies”.
