If you used the IObit Uninstaller 4 program (not the standard Windows Uninstaller) to look for anything suspicious even under a name not associated with Ask.com then there is something else you can try.
You can use the free version of “Malwarebyes Anti-Malware” and “SuperAntiSpyware” programs to scan your PC and look for anything suspicious.

When running the programs use the “Thorough” / “Full” scan option on your computer. If you use the Quick scans they will probably be useless and not worth your time. Remember, download the free versions, no need for the pay ones for what you need them for.
